"Michael McCormack composed music for the soundtrack to the film "Long Live the King." I was extremely pleased with his music and he helped with post-sound issues as well. He gave everything he could to make this film sound great! I will most definitely hire him again."

"Michael McCormack's work on the score for The Shark is Still Working was, in a word, outstanding. His professionalism, flexibility, and ability to produce quality music while still meeting deadlines are qualities that made him an asset to the project. Michael's challenge was to create a score that was evocative of John Williams' classic score for JAWS while not being an imitation, and at this, he exceeded all of our expectations."

When we were in post production on our film "Lamp Post Lane," finding the right composer was a huge concern. We knew we wanted a complex score that would give our film more character as well as heighten the suspense elements; from our point of view, this seemed a difficult task.

When I spoke to Michael McCormack he appeared very enthusiastic about the overall story and very willing to go through the film scene by scene to discuss the mood I was looking for. I was shocked how fast he completed the score! Merely days after that conversation I was listening to what would be the score for Lamp Post Lane!

Michael made the whole process look easy. I can honestly tell you as we created the final mix we all knew he had made our film even better. The music receives nothing but compliments."

"In Lamp Post Lane...Michael McCormack deserves special recognition for his original score. A throbbing, industrial overture establishes an alienating, disturbing tone. Atmospheric crescendos heighten the suspense throughout the remainder of the film."

"Michael McCormack took on the assignment of creating the opening and closing themes for our program Movie Geeks United, and came through with stunning work that perfectly encapsulates the personality and appeal of the show. In a very short time, he produced indelible themes that have firmly established themselves as our musical identity. Michael is unrivaled in his enthusiasm, collaborative spirit and musical ability."

"Having scored a couple short films and a feature documentary I directed, Michael McCormack's passion for making music is evident in both the scope and quality of tracks provided. His focus has always been on creating the best aural environment for its visual counterpart. In my case, there were critical requirements to evoke much-needed pathos upon which the project could rise or fall. Mike always came through with flying colors. His dedication to excellence and punctuality is nothing less than astonishing. I have never before worked with anyone who can, in such a timely fashion, produce the volume and variety of styles he does. I am very pleased with the level to which his scores have raised my work."

"I have worked with Michael McCormack on several projects including documentaries, narrative subjects and presentations. He is a talented musician and more importantly a collaborator. He understands the mood, tone and needs of the Production and works tirelessly to achieve it. His music doesn't underscore the project, but combines with it to help tell your story."

"...it's definitely worth mentioning that when The Shark is Still Working does find its way to being released, we feel very confident that you won't have to be a Jaws fan or even a movie fan to love it. We believe this because we made The Shark is Still Working full of texture, visual pizazz, and other kinds of sensory stimuli to make TSISW fit right in in the MTV generation. Much, much more than a traditional "talking head" documentary... .. One of the biggest reasons TSISW will succeed on this level will be through its music. TSISW also is carried by modern, cutting edge music written exclusively for the project... .. For that, TSISW benefits from the magnificent contribution of composer Michael McCormack."

"Working with Michael on the score for our short film "3 Hands" was great. I had heard his music from "The Shark Is Still Working" and love his style.   Not only was Michael able to give us a great score that set the mood for the film, but it was also an enjoyable experience.  I would work with him again in a heartbeat."
